Meth operation uncovered in Oconee Estates

A meth operation has been uncovered in a subdivision near Seneca, while county officers went there as part of an eviction at 615 W. Springwood Drive in Oconee Estates. The officers reported a strange odor and called their narcotics unit. Sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Watt said Roger Caness Martin, Jr., 35 years old, turned himself over to narcotics agents Tuesday and was sent to jail, now charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Narcotics officers started the process to clean up the meth labs. An outside contractor removed the chemicals.
