Middle school debuts student radio station

If you are very near Walhalla Middle School, you can turn your radio dial to 1630 AM. And you’ll hear student voices announcing events and other school news. Principal Scott Dixon is excited about his school’s radio station, as are students in Sandy Whiteford’s yearbook class. If, for no other reason, the broadcasts are another tool with which the school communicates to parents and guardians. “Yes, it’s fun,” Jamie Jensen said.
