Missing boat motor retrieved and arrest made

Oconee sheriff’s deputies report a missing boat motor has been recovered and an arrest made in a case classified as stolen property. According to law enforcement reports, 29-year old Nicholas James Crawford of Stormy Lane, Seneca was arrested yesterday and charged with receiving stolen goods. Deputies say they were alerted by the owner of a 351 Ford inboard marine motor that the motor, worth $3 thousand, had wound up in the trunk of a car at a nearby Friendship community home.
