MONDAY SPORTS: Tigers hold steady, Gamecocks up one in AP poll; Sunday’s NFL Scores; Braves lose

*Clemson had the weekend off, and the Tigers ranking in the latest AP poll held at number three. South Carolina’s 35-25 win over Vanderbilt Saturday night moved them up one spot to 12th in this week’s ranking. The Tigers (2-0) will open ACC play Thursday night on the road against N.C. State. The Gamecocks (2-1, 1-1) are off this week. Their next game is a week from Saturday in Orlando against Central Florida. The Golden Knights are 3-0 and 27th in the latest poll after a 34-31 win over Penn State. Undefeated Alabama remains the top team in the poll thanks to their win over #6 Texas A&M. Oregon, fresh off a blowout win over Tennessee, continues to hold the number two spot.
