More state troopers testify

The jury in Oconee General Sessions Court heard more testimony from state troopers in the trial in which an Atlanta man is charged with drug offenses on I-85.  One prosecution witness this morning, Corp. Rodney Frick, answered questions about how state headquarters in Columbia handled evidence in the case and how it went about testing white powder and green leafy substances.  Frick said a microscopic test of the green leaf substance revealed it to be marijuana—nearly seven pounds in weight.  Car driver Anousack Thanonglit was arrested and charged in May 2013 with trafficking in cocaine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
