Moulder accepts VOSO invitation

An audience of southern Oconeeans has already heard how the county’s new sheriff will approach law enforcement in their part of the county. Now they’ll get to hear about a major change headed southern Oconee way in the form of the first piped sewer there. Voice of Southern Oconee representatives are announcing a public meeting for 6:30 Thursday night, March 14 at the South Union Baptist Church. Glenn McPheeters, member of VOSO’s steering committee, says it’s going to be a chance to ask questions about when sewer service will begin and the impact it will have on the south end. McPheeters says VOSO will also help facilitate the March 26 meeting at South Union Baptist Church that will be devoted to the proposed Sanctuary Pointe project at an I-85 Lake Hartwell peninsula.
