Moulder tells McCall that it’s going to cost

Scott Moulder commended Wayne McCall for the District Two councilman’s idea that calls for the county to amp up its efforts to recycle trash—as a way to lower the county’s costs for hauling waste to a Georgia landfill.  But creating the set up that’ll increase the amount of Oconee County solid waste that is recovered for a new use, at first, is going to cost money.  Moulder debated with McCall last night as part of the council’s deliberations toward a new budget for next year.  “I agree with you.  Your ideas are great, but they are not free.  I need some money to make those improvements,” Moulder told McCall.
