Mountain Lakes Access Health Gets Grant

Seneca’s Gignilliat Community Center will be the location for a special event hosted by The Blue-Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina Foundation to honor and present a Grant to Mountain Lakes Access Health. During the 11:45 event this morning, Mountain Lakes Access Health will be presented with a $158,000 grant. The presentation will include remarks by officials from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina Foundation, as well as remarks by Mountain Lakes Executive director Heather Goss, Senator Thomas Alexander and other dignitaries. Guests will include U.S. Senator Tim Scott. The presentation will be followed by a luncheon. Mountain Lakes Access Health will use the grant to provide low-income uninsured adults with access to dental care to prevent chronic illness and improve lives.
