Multiple charges against Oconeean

By this morning, Oconee County resident Joshua Scott Ivester remained in jail—under a combined surety bond amounting to $118 thousand.  The Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest yesterday of 31-year old Ivester on charges of larceny and breaking into motor vehicles.   An arrest affidavit naming Ivester accuses him of stealing a golf cart, valued at 25-hundred dollars.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, Ivester is also facing charges of breaking into vehicles near Westminster and taking electronics, sunglasses, tools, key, and cash.
