Murder defendant scheduled to stand trial

A young man charged with murder in a stabbing death in Walhalla nearly three years ago is scheduled to stand trial during a week of General Sessions Court this month at the courthouse.  The office of 10th Solicitor has placed the case against Kenneth Strother Collins atop the docket for court week October 16-20, with Judge Scott Sprouse presiding.  The police say they arrested Collins and two other people at the N. Laurel Street scene of the Jeremy Lee Little homicide in January 2013.
