New Borg Warner expansion

What’s described as a major industrial expansion in Oconee County is getting a boost from county government.  The county council last night gave the final OK to incentives for Borg Warner, the automotive parts maker near Seneca.  Approved were a fee in place of tax agreement and special source credits.  Councilmen Paul Cain and Julian Davis were effusive in their praise for what Borg Warner means to the local economy.  Cain said the company was free to undertake the expansion anywhere else in the world, but it chose Oconee.
