NORMAL BUSINESS AT OC SHERIFF’S OFFICE DESPITE SATURDAY FIRE

As investigators with the Walhalla Fire Department and the State Law Enforcement Division try to determine the cause of a Saturday evening fire at the Oconee County Law Enforcement Center, business remains normal at the Sheriff’s Office according to Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt. No one was injured in the fire, which damaged furniture and computers as well as the building itself. Early estimates of the damage are around $100,000.
