Oconee takes pride in Ulbrich company

At the Oconee Economic Alliance, it’s continuous battle to compete with the rest of the world for new manufacturing.  But Richard Blackwell says it’s also good to savor what you already have.  Blackwell gave an example on Friday when he spoke his board of directors.  Ulbrich Manufacturing on SC 183/the Westminster Highway, decided to close its Oregon operations and keep its Oconee operations.  The plant makes specialty wire products.
