Oconee teachers picked for science institute

Two Oconee County teachers have been selected to attend this summer’s Science P.L.U.S. Institute at Greenville County schools’ Roper Mountain Science Center. Funded by a S-C Education Improvement Act grant, the institute will allow Kristin Harms of Seneca Middle School and Sandy Whiteford of Walhalla Middle School to take intensive training in science teaching methods. The program stresses the belief that all students deserve a good science education.
