Oconeean charged with receiving stolen goods

A piece of machinery, worth $12 thousand dollars, stolen in Simpsonville turned up in Oconee County where a 29-year old man was arrested.  The Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest Friday of Casey Adam Spurlock of the Rodgers Road.  A deputy obtained a warrant alleging Spurlock sold a stolen Bobcat MT 55 to another man for $9 thousand with the “intent to cheat and defraud the victim.”  According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies believe Spurlock knew that the machinery was stolen.
