Oconee’s Stephens assumes increased duties

Josh Stephens’ goal in life is to work as a city or county administrator.  The young Oconee County department director today appears to be one step closer.  County Administrator Scott Moulder has confirmed that, in recent weeks, Stephens has been elevated to the job of assistant to administrator. And it means a pay raise, according to Moulder. Though Moulder was careful to say assistant to administrator is not the same thing as assistant county administrator, Moulder said Stephens will undertake special projects, budget work, and other duties.  Currently, Stephens serves as Deputy Director of Community Development, but will transition away from his duties involving the county planning department.
