One dead following overnight shooting in Seneca

Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis says a 29 year-old Seneca man is dead following an overnight shooting. Addis says Anthony Letron Holden died at 9:33 AM Sunday from wounds he sustained in the shooting, which occurred around 12:30 AM at Sonny’s Bar & Grill at the corner of Wells Highway and Shiloh Road. The coroner says Holden was shot in the abdomen. Jimmy Watt, spokesman of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, says deputies were dispatched after reports of a fight in progress at the bar, but that shots were fired before they arrived, with multiple victims being hit. Deputies report as many as 100 people may have been in the crowd while the fight was underway. Conditions of other victims is unknown at this time.
