Pickens County employer to expand

Fifty-six new jobs are promised in Pickens County with the announcement today that an existing manufacturer will expand.  JR Automation Technologies  is to make a capital investment of $3.4 million. Established in 1980 and based in Holland, Mich., JR Automation Technologies provides custom automated equipment and services to customers in a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical device, pharmaceutical, food processing, construction and more. To accommodate this expansion, the company will be moving into a 50,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility in Pickens County Commerce Park.
