Political winds blow in District Four

With the official qualifying period to open next week, there is an announced candidate for Seat Four, Oconee County Council.  He’s Oakway resident and Seneca insurance agent Julian Davis.  Davis says he would take an “open mind” to the council with the hope of bringing people together.  Davis, a Republican, says he has spoken about his candidacy with Joel Thrift, the current District Four councilman, and Thrift told him that he’s uncertain if he will seek re-election.
