“Progress coming along very well”

walhalla high Oconee school trustees are told that, at least so far, they need not worry about the new Walhalla High School meeting schedule. Trehel Corporation’s Jack Weber said three months full of rain earlier this year stymied construction, but the weather for recent months has created splendid building conditions, and the contractors have taken advantage. At one point late yesterday afternoon, there were about 170 workers on the job. Weber works for the project’s construction management at risk company for the $55 million project on SC 11 at Picket Post. Also, at their meeting last night, architect Brian Deichman displayed 3-D images of what the complex should look like once it’s finished in time for classes in 2015.
