Prosecutor moves to try 14-year old as an adult

The office of 10th Circuit Solicitor Chrissy Adams will ask the courts to allow her to try Jesse Dewitt Osborne as an adult on the charges arising from the September 28 shootings at Townville. Adams seeks to have the 14-year old boy to stand in the General Sessions Court on the two charges of murder, three charges of attempted murder, and five charges of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.  A hearing date for the State’s motion will be set by the Family Court following an evaluation of Osborne by the Department of Juvenile Justice.
