Radar clocks speeding suspect

MarcoAntonioEsparza A 27-year old Oconee County man, who county officers quote as saying he was in a hurry to get to work, was handed a ticket Sunday accusing him of driving 85 miles an hour in a 45 zone on the Wells Highway. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the case made against Marco Antonio Esparza of the Friendship Road was made as result of radar clocking the Chevy Blazer the suspect drove. But the car’s speed proved to be not the only problem the driver would encounter with officers. Sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Watt said, “Esparza was also charged with disregarding a traffic signal, for no turn signal, and for driving under suspension 2nd offense.”
