Rain postpones “Elbow Grease” filming

A couple of inches of much-needed rain that fell during the early morning hours today proved no friend to those who are filming the movie “Elbow Grease” in Seneca. Riley Johnson, city events coordinator, says the movie makers’ plans to shoot a street festival scene on Ramcat Alley have been re-scheduled for Wednesday. That’s going to mean that Seneca will close Ramcat Alley starting at 8 o’clock tomorrow night until 8 o’clock Wednesday night. To overcome whatever in-convenience that customers may have, Seneca policeman Brian Sheriff will operate a golf cart in the vicinity of Ramcat to get people to and from whatever spot on the alley they require.
