RBC Bearings’ Bob Crawford

Following a public hearing and the final reading of an ordinance for the sale of its spec building, Oconee County Council was able to savor its acquisition of a Georgia manufacturer who, in today’s hungry climate for jobs, had its choice of places to re-locate. The council heard from Bob Crawford of RBC Bearings, which includes the A. I. D. Company. A. I. D. will be moving into a 50 thousand square foot available building in the Oconee Commerce Park, at S.C. 11 near 123. Crawford credited Richard Blackwell, Oconee economic development recruiter, and Blackwell’s predecessor, Jim Alexander, with answering every question his company had about moving to Oconee and then some
