Restoring a 40-hour work week

U-S Senator Tim Scott says his amendment to the extension of unemployment insurance would restore the 40-hour work week which he says has been unraveled by the provisions of Obamacare. The employer mandate under the health law now requires employers to provide insurance to full-time employees and defines “full time” as 30 hour a week, or more. As a result, Scott says, employers are cutting hours for many workers to fewer than 30 a week.
