Robber was in one minute, out the next

The police are looking for the male who held up a highway 11 store this morning at West Union.  Chief Charles Sanders says video surveillance shows the suspect walking inside the BP station/convenience store before he left, returned, and committed the criminal deed. Sanders says the robber showed a handgun and demanded the clerk fill a bag with money. No shots were fired and no one was hurt.  The robbery was reported at 6:30 am.  The robber was described as male, wearing sunglasses, his face covered, dark clothing.  He was inside the store only briefly and, according to Sanders, ran from the store property on the backside into the woods nearby.  Because he was seen using a cell phone, the police think, he may have arranged a get away ride.
