Rotarians learn about the Cherokees

At this hour, the man behind the Museum of the Cherokee in South Carolina is speaking to the Seneca Rotary Club.  Luther Lyle’s purpose today is to dispel some of the perceptions of the Indian tribe and, especially, clear up how Seneca got its name.  “It (Seneca) was a Cherokee town here on the Seneca River,” the retired school teacher says.
