Scholarship money for quick jobs training

Scholarships are available for quick jobs training to help the unemployed within Oconee, Anderson and Pickens counties.  The corporate and community education division of Tri-County Technical College is also able to help the under-employed prepare for high-demand jobs that lead to sustainable wages.  The General Assembly allotted the state’s 16 technical colleges funding to award scholarship money.  Tri-County received $350 thousand earmarked for training in manufacturing, health care, I-T, computer, business, truck driving, and highway construction.  Interested persons should call 864/646-1700 or visit tctc.edu/Learn.
