Security breach indictments

Indictments have been returned in Richland County against two people in the investigation of unlawful access and use of confidential records belonging to the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Attorney General Alan Wilson, whose office will prosecute the case, says the indictments charge Christopher Lykes Jr. with criminal conspiracy and willful examination of private records by a public official or public employee. The Richland grand jury indicted Toshia Yvette Latimer-Addison on the charge of criminal conspiracy. Lykes stands accused while working as a department employee. Latimer-Addison is accused of conspiring with Lykes in that effort.
