Seneca Business Burglarized

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in solving an August 3rd burglary that occurred at a Seneca area business. A deputy with the Uniform Patrol Division responded to Palmetto Spirits located on the Highway 123 by-pass around 3am on the incident date.  The deputy met with the complainant who told the deputy that an alarm call was reported about 15 minutes earlier. The complainant came to the business and noticed that the front door had been damaged.  After clearing the store, it appeared at that time that nothing had been stolen.  The estimated damage to the front door is around $1,200, according to the complainant.  The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.
