Seneca HS Hall of Fame to induct three

Seneca High School announces the 9th induction class into its Athletic Hall of Fame. The three inductees will be honored this Friday night, September 9, when the Bobcat football team plays host to Powdersville. This year’s inductees are Tracey Golden, Rick Lacey, and Julie Talley. Golden is a 1985 graduate, who competed in football, basketball, and track and field before earning 8 letters in indoor track and field at the Air Force Academy. Tracey joins his father, Fred Golden, in Seneca’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Lacey is a 1974 graduate who played football, basketball, and baseball. Lacey played in the 1973 Shrine North/South All-Star Game as a senior before being drafted to play baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals. Lacey is currently the Director of Recreation and Tourism for the City of Seneca. Talley is a 2002 graduate who finished her basketball career with 1,831 points and a record of 107-9, including the 1999 AAA State Championship. Talley went on to play at Clemson and currently works for the U.S. Postal Service.
