Seneca police find stolen truck, arrest driver

A pickup truck, the target of a Seneca traffic stop on Sunday, turned out to have been stolen. Its driver, Jerry Dale McCall of Anderson County, was charged by the police with possession of stolen vehicle. The police say they were aware of an alert from Oconee Sheriff’s Office, about the 1999 black Ford Ranger and became suspicious when they heard the driver of a second truck  yell out, “That truck is stolen. It’s my dad’s truck and it was stolen from Townville.”  The traffic stop was made Sunday morning at S. Depot and E.S. 1st streets.
