Seneca raises no objections

Seneca leaders have no objection to what’s in a revised county project list which ranks prominently the long talked about sewer service for Golden Corner Commerce Park. One night after the matter was discussed by the Joint Regional Sewer Authority, Greg Dietterick brought the plan to the mayor and council. The city administrator referred Seneca’s leaders to a letter of request from Scott Moulder, county administrator. Dietterick says the deadline for comments is September 30, before Oconee County, the Sewer Authority, and Seneca act on an agreement spelling out the terms and costs of how to get piped sewer to Golden Corner, which the county has been attempting to develop into an industrial park.
