Seneca suspends business license

Seneca officials say the city yesterday suspended the business license of a W. N. 1st Street store and announced its intent to revoke the license. The police say they served papers on the business Purple Haze, where in recent days law enforcement seized what’s alleged to be several pounds of a synthetic drug. According to Chief John Covington, Purple Haze may continue to operate without criminal penalty for up to 10 days. The action may be appealed and a hearing is scheduled.
