Sex case a,lleged against Mountain Rest man

A 50-year old Mountain Rest man has been arrested on ten charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor second degree.  According to the Oconee Sheriff’s Office, Jerry Wayne Miller was arrested Wednesday afternoon as the result of an investigation that its child/elder abuse investigator opened March 3.  Miller is accused of inappropriate sexual relations with a 15-year old girl during parts of 2015 and 2016.  He was being held in the Detention Center under a combined surety bond of $100 thousand.
