Sheriff-elect to introduce command officers

At tonight’s meeting of the Voice of Southern Oconee, Sheriff-elect Mike Crenshaw has invited four individuals whom he has chosen to serve as part of his command staff. Speaking to the Walhalla Rotary Club this afternoon, Crenshaw declined to name the four, saying it’s his intent for them to accompany him tonight to the South Union Baptist Church and make them known there, the location for tonight’s 7 o’clcok VOSO meeting. And, in answer to a 96.3/WGOG NEWS question, Crenshaw held off saying who will serve as his jail director, though he said he may consummate an agreement with that person this afternoon. Late in the campaign, Crenshaw said, if elected, he’d look into the case of the missing drug funds. 96.3/WGOG NEWS airing what he had to say about that at the Rotary Club meeting.
