Single stab wound proved fatal

One stab wound proved fatal to the victim of an incident late Thursday night in Seneca.  Coroner Karl Addis has announced the Thomas “Tony” Mark autopsy confirmed the 53-year old man died of complications from a single stab wound to the abdomen.  Addis says the manner of death was homicide.  However, the Seneca police announced Friday that, for now, no charges will be pursued against an identified suspect based on a review by the Solicitor’s Office.  According to Chief John Covington, the Solicitor’s Office opinion is that no charges will be filed at this time based on a probable self defense situation.
