Smoke likely to drift toward Walhalla-West Union area
The U-S Forest Service has announced that crews will undertake a 700-acre prescribed burn today at Long Creek. The scheduled start time is 10:30 this morning. And a USFS spokesman says indications are the wind currents will cause the smoke to drift toward the Walhalla and West Union areas.
