Solicitor’s employee to run for the office

The deputy solicitor in Anderson County, Rame Campbell, is announcing his intent to run for Solicitor of the 10th Circuit, covering Oconee and Anderson.  Campbell is a Republican who gave up work as a criminal defense attorney to join the Solicitor’s office in 2005.  He’ll be seeking the office, which current Solicitor Chrissy Adams is giving up for health reasons.  In a statement, Campbell said, “I am committed to making our community a safer place.  I believe the law must be upheld and applied equally to all people….”
