Storm takes down tree in Utica neighborhood

The severity of the storm that hit at 9 o’clock last night likely depends on where you were.  The south side of Walhalla and parts near Seneca got a drenching; other areas, not so much.  Friday night the area was treated to a lightning storm.  In the Utica Community near Seneca, part of a large tree fell onto a fence on Goddard Avenue near Humbert Street.  This morning another part of the tree collapsed onto a house, but no one was hurt, according to the Seneca Fire Department.
