Stormy forecast for election day

Seeing Oconee’s director of elections out and about before the 6 o’clock hour this morning is a reminder that it’s primary run-off today for voters in both Oconee and Anderson counties.  The voters are being asked to cast ballots today to decide who gets the office of 10th Circuit Solicitor–Rame Campbell or David Wagner.  For Oconee elections director Joy Scharich and her staff and the poll workers, today will be a long day.  Voting in both counties runs 7 a-m to 7 p-m.  Those heading to the polls today may have to put up with an occasional thunderstorm of the heavy variety.
