Survey on single county-wide chamber

Members of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce at Seneca are being asked to weigh-in on a survey to gauge opinion on whether there should be a single, county-wide chamber of commerce.  Ed Halbig, chairman of the chamber board, invites chamber members to take the computer survey posing four questions.  One of those questions seeks opinion on what to call a countywide chamber of commerce.  Three names are suggested:  Golden Corner Chamber of Commerce, Blue Ridge Chamber of Commerce, and the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce.  Besides the Oconee chamber, located in Seneca, other chambers of commerce are located in Walhalla and Westminster.
