Susbtitute polling place for Newry-Corinth voters

You’ve either made your choice or have begun to narrow it down—in advance of Tuesday’s Republican primary in Oconee County.  So, one of the questions arises is exactly where do I go to vote?  “At the polling place in your precinct,” says Chris Whitmire.  The state elections spokesman says you can find your precinct and polling place on your voter registration card.  But make sure your card is up to date.  The office of Oconee Elections says all normal polling places will be open Tuesday, with one exception:  Newry-Corinth voters near Seneca will vote at the Newry Church of God, 234 Newry Road instead of Lydia Baptist Church.  Bible School activities are taking place at Lydia.

All voting will follow regular hours:  7 in the morning until 7 at night.
