Tech student wins top award in statewide competition

A Tri-County Tech student from Westminster won the highest individual prize during last weekend’s competition at the South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association Festival.  Chelsea Adams took the Triathlon Award for best overall performance by an individual.  Adams and other Tech students, as a team, swept the top prizes.  The statewide association is a professional organization that promotes the study of all areas of performance and oral communication.
