The latest on a two-stage investigation
The police in Seneca have worked thru the week on a two-part investigation that began Monday night at an apartment project on Lindsay Road. The police narcotics unit followed up on the discovery of a meth lab at Fair Oaks Village, after officers earlier investigated a shooting there. That shooting, Chief John Covington said today, is believed to have been an accidental self-inflicted wound—possibly preceded by other crimes. One person is reported in the hospital, and a second person was described by Covington to be on the run. So far, he said, four arrest warrants have been obtained.
