“The man with the plan”–Richard Alexander

At a meeting in Seneca, Richard Alexander was “the man with the plan.”  The school district’s director of facilities shared with the Rotary Club information and drawings of new education buildings that are to be built on highway 11 inside the Oconee Information and Technology Park.  The project is called “Oconee County Workforce Development Center.”  In the largest building is to be the Oconee School District’s new career center.  A smaller building is planned for adult education.  A third building will house the Oconee County campus of Tri-County Technical College.  Construction has yet to start.  The only construction in the park, so far, is work on two manufacturing buildings:  Baxter Enterprises and High-Tech Mold and Engineering.
