Thirty-eight drug suspects sought

In Seneca, the war against drugs is an ongoing struggle. And that struggle has resumed today with a police round up of 38 suspects—wanted on 70 warrants, charging an array of offenses, according to Police Chief John Covington. By 10 o’clock this morning, 20 suspects had been arrested. Covington says the sweep will continue through the day and into the night. The Seneca police are being assisted by Oconee sheriff’s deputies and the Westminster Police Department.
