Thirty-seven students graduate from Leadership Camp

Thirty-seven Oconee students have graduated from the latest Leadership Camp, run by the Sheriff’s Office and the School District. The students ranged from the sixth thru the 10th grades and 10 to 16 years of age. They were together for a week of fun, friendship, and their future. Leadership and team-building skills were taught. School resource officers had the chance to work with students in small groups to build a rapport with students as they discussed life’s issues. Donations from churches, civic organizations, and private citizens make possible the annual Leadership Camp. Dabo Swinney’s “All In” Foundation provided a grant.
