Three openings in Pickens County building department

Pickens County has three openings in its building codes department, one of which is created by the retirement of the chief inspector.  Jerald Wilson, county administrator, said this afternoon, however, the rumors are not true that his county is dismantling its building codes department—in a manner similar to what happened recently in Oconee County.
