Thrift Development awaits Clemson contract

An Oconee County contractor is in line for a contract for work in Clemson.  The city council Monday night will consider awarding Thrift Development of Seneca a contract worth $1.6 million for the Berkeley Drive pedestrian bridge and shared path construction project.  In a corresponding item, the council will be asked to transfer $380 thousand from the general fund to the Berkeley Drive bridge account, at the recommendation of City Administrator Rick Cotton.
